Benny Harvey celebrates the release of their highly anticipated debut EP, Pull the Plug, in their adopted hometown of Berlin. This performance will feature the live debuts of singles “Wake Me” and “Finally Love,” alongside brand-new, unheard material. Benny Harvey is the most recent project of Andy Malcolm, a Scottish musician living in Berlin. The inception of the project came from a series of bedroom demos, and it now comes to life with the debut EP Pull the Plug. Benny Harvey combines the classic hard rock style of big guitars and drums with melodic choruses, traces of which can especially be heard on the tracks Wake Me and Dead to Me. Citing influences from Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, The Doors and Mastodon, Pull the Plug offers a sonic journey into a contemporary rock landscape. Pull the Plug was recorded and produced by the formidable electro duo YUNNI (Juan Esteban Parga & Nicolas Herlitz Miranda). The project first stepped into LA Recordings with Liam Blomqvist’s engineering and the highly sought-after Joachim Jägerhult behind the drum kit. The EP was mixed by Frida Claeson Johansson, working out of the famous Hansa Studios in Berlin.
