Zum ersten Mal in Berlin – und dann gleich im wundervollen Privatclub!

Zwischen 2001 und 2008 erschienen quasi im Wochentakt die „großen“ Alben von Bands wie The Strokes, White Stripes, Libertines, von Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, den Arctic Monkeys, und Arcade Fire und den Thermals und Interpol und und und… Das war die Goldene Zeit des Indierock! Und die werden wir heute feiern.
Aber keine Angst: Neben Indierock aus den Jahren 2001 bis 2008 hat auch der ein oder andere Indieklassiker genauso Platz im Set, wie ausgewählte Stücke aktuellerer Indierock-Bands.

Achtung: Ich mag Musikwünsche. Daher könnt Ihr Eure Vorschläge und Ideen einfach in die Facebook-Veranstaltung spammen.

Between 2001 and 2008 it felt like there were „big“ albums coming out weekly from bands like The Strokes, White Stripes, Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, The Arctic Monkey and Arcade Fire and The Thermals and Interpol and and and… That was the golden time of indie rock! And that‘s what we‘ll celebrate tonight.

But don‘t worry: Other than indierock from 2001 to 2008, there are going to be a few indie classics and some carefully chosen songs by newer indie bands.
