Yazkah

Genre: Funk, Afro-Cuban and Caribbean rhythms

Yazkah was founded in the Berlin music scene in 2019 with an interesting sound.
Their music combines different musical genres: Funk, Afro-Cuban and Caribbean rhythms with influences from rock and electronic music.
The musical journey, under the direction of Yahima Piedra (Yazkah) began on stage without having released a single song. And this same journey has been enriched, thanks to the mixture of musical backgrounds and creativity of its members.
The basis of their distinctive and original sound consists of powerful drums and percussion, led by Yazkah’s powerful rhythmic voice. A punchy bass, cool harmonies and brass instruments complete a sound that leaves no one indifferent.
For their anniversary concert Yazkah have chosen the legendary Privatclub in Berlin on Sunday 29th May at 8pm.
On stage, the members of the band, like a big family, spread pure energy and put on a great show together with the audience.
